Cornish Coastal Route
The Area

St Gennys is situated on a hill overlooking the small Cornish coastal village of Crackington Haven, with spectacular coastal views across the Atlantic Ocean.

Our site at St Gennys is accessible by road, is only half a mile from the sea and has mains water. The area is popular with campers and walkers, the surrounding cliffs, well-known for their visible folded sedimentary rock formations, are also popular with geology students. The North Cornish coast has many prime surfing spots, cliff-top walks and secluded coves for you to discover.

Crackington Haven is situated in a small cove sheltered by spectacular cliffs. It has a small shop, tea rooms and a public house and the beach has public conveniences and lifeguard cover during summer. The small seaside town of Bude. established at the mouth of the River Neet, is approximately seven miles away. It has two sandy beaches, a small harbour and historic canal with locks.
